GoldenPlec.com was founded in 2003 to provide an outlet for Irish acts to promote themselves on the internet. Over the past 18 years GoldenPlec have continued to become one of Irelands most prominent music websites, working with the like MCD, Aiken promotions and Ticketmaster to provide up to date music news, features, interviews and music recommendations. The site is currently owned and operated by Stephen Byrne & Ros Madigan. In 2015, 2012 & 2011, GoldenPlec.com won the award for Best Music Site in Ireland at the Irish Web Awards.
