Kshetra is an initiative aimed at building a societal muscle for dialogue, towards multiple outcomes including conflict transformation, collaborative problem solving and community mobilisation and cultural and systemic change.
The Dialogic Method is a multidisciplinary framework that draws from Mediation, Psychology and Systems thinking. Key principles of the framework include: value creation (as opposed to value distribution), emphasis on non-binary perspectives and the importance of self-determination and participation of stakeholders as essential to generating sustainable outcomes.
The Dialogic Method can be used towards varied but interconnected purposes, including Conflict Resolution, Collaborative Problem Solving and Community Mobilisation and creating Cultures and Systems of Dialogue within organisations and communities.
Our areas of work include:
- Building willingness and capacity amongst individuals and organisations to apply the Dialogic Method to engage in dialogue and enable others through dialogue
- Designing and supporting the use of spaces by diverse groups of individuals to apply the Dialogic Method towards effective dialogue
- Support individuals in their use of the Dialogic Method to engage and/or enable dialogue through active coaching and mentoring
- Design and support the creation of cultures and processes of dialogue at various levels (including organisations, social groups and communities) based on the Dialogic Method
