IIM Rohtak is the eighth IIM approved by the Union Cabinet on August 27, 2009. It is also North India’s first IIM, and the only IIM in the Delhi-NCR region. Mission - To be a leading centre for quality management education and research globally. The institute offers: 2 year flagship Post-Graduate Programme in Management & a Fellow Programme in Management. The programme intends to produce world-class managers and leaders through its philosophy of exposing students to real life unstructured situations apart from imbibing them with knowledge of the analytical tools and business philosophies required to be a success in the current, and foreseeable, economic scenario. A case based method of pedagogy is being followed by the institute to this effect.
