In partnership with international institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds and international financial institutions, KCM invests and manages private equity funds. KCM funds provide capital to companies in various sectors of the economy with the aim of further growth and competitiveness.
Among KCM's partners are the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), CITIC Group, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Eurasian Development Bank (EBD), the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Cimbank, Macquarie Group, international investment company Mubadala, Dutch Development Fund (FMO Entrepreneurial Development Bank), OJSC RUSNANO and other investors.
In order to effectively manage portfolio funds, KCM attracts international management companies with many years of successful experience in the industry. Thus, by transferring international experience, innovative knowledge, the latest technologies and management strategies in the field of private equity, KCM strives to develop financing tools, form a stable private equity infrastructure and build up the internal competencies of the KCM team.
Today KCM is a member of 15 private equity funds with a total capitalization of more than 1 trillion tenge. In addition, over the years of activity, more than 40 partnerships with international investment institutions have been created, a subsidiary captive fund JSC "Baiterek Venture Fund" and a management company LLP "BV Management" have been established.
