Who are we? Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration Suez university (SME) is the first certified student chapter for mining at The Middle East located in Suez, Egypt. Our Vision is to inspire mining engineers with a leadership mindset and technical knowledge to build a strong mining community and lead it forward to influence Egypt’s economy and achieve the best lasting change in people lives.
