The Nizami Ganjavi Foundation’s goal is to contribute to, and enhance, a globally positive image of the Republic of Azerbaijan by promoting its culture, in a context of ideas of Nizami Ganjavi, a prominent contributor to the Eastern Renaissance and advocate in his work of universal values, peace and justice. We are also active in the fields of culture and science that serve peace, dialogue, mutual understanding and cultural diversity, as well as proposing alternative solutions to global issues. The NGF`s vision to contribute to the world’s cultural heritage with activities based on intercultural dialogue. Within this context, the NGF plans to support scientific and cultural projects in cooperation with various regional and international, government and non-government organizations, and to build bridges between different cultures by sharing its findings with the international community through publications and other means. As Azerbaijanis, we in the foundation also desire to present our own historical and cultural heritage to international audience through the eternal moral values illustrated and encouraged by Nizami. Thus, the foundation stands for a serene world of understanding and peaceful co-existence between peoples.
