We were founded in 1976 by Dr. Louis Britt – a transplant surgeon who performed the first kidney transplant here in Memphis in 1970. As an OPO, Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF)’s mission is to advocate for all organ and tissue donors and recipients.
