Lending Hands Foundation is a social impact organization that was founded in 2017, to focus on the involvement of young people across India in making informed decisions for creating social impact. We recognise that lasting change requires amplifying the voices of young people through development and empowering them with the knowledge to influence decisions and improve their lives.
Realization of national development priorities defined by social movements and communities around the world - including the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – requires that individuals and communities are informed and engaged around the issues that most affect them. We engage in social-political dialogue, coordination, advocacy, and evidence reviews to advance the scale and impact of social and behavioural change and work to advance the scale, quality, impact, and sustainability of individual efforts.
The creation of the Lending Hands Foundation is part of a new behavioural insights and sciences initiative, expected to give a more prominent role and louder voice to disciplines that have social and behavioural sciences in common – in the context of education, health, waste management, and climate change. At Lending Hands Foundation, we know that behavioural change requires a holistic, data-driven, proactive, and structured approach that addresses global goals. We help organizations in designing behavioural change programmes and executing a communication strategy; conduct impact analysis and design targeted programmes for their target audience.
We support the full life cycle of the change process, ensuring the effective and sustainable realization of organizational value. We have extensive experience working with different stakeholders which include government bodies, UN bodies, Not-For-Profit Organizations, CSR bodies, and corporates.
