GULF HAULAGE HEAVY LIFT (GHHL) is a company operating for over 32 years, and is the market leader in the heavy transportation and lifting industry in Saudi Arabia and Middle East. Today it owns 278 axle-line of hydraulic modular platform trailers including self propelled modular trailers and cranes upto the lifting capacity of 2000t in addition to other lifting and heavy haulage equipment. Due to the significantly increasing demand of Rig Move service in the Kingdom, GHHL has innovatively created a Rigmove division with the affinity to the Heavy Lifting business. Rigmove is for Onshore Rig transportation, dedicated in creating custom-made rig transport project plans in close cooperation with our project managers, QHSE Department and field supervisors. We assure our customers their project will be carried out in accordance with the latest regulations combined withGHHL’s most recent field experiences to meet expectations. The process of every rig move is documented in a Rigmove manual, comprising site visits, road inspections, resource planning, procedures including 3D drawings and pictures, method statements and safety assessments. One of the most important elements of a Rig move is transport planning. In most cases, we perform a scout trip in order to familiarise ourselves with the situation in detail. Then we determine the complete transport planning of a rig, including elements such as types and number of trucks, permit restrictions, etc.
