The AFOS Foundation is a German-based non-profit organization established in 2003 as the implementing institution for the international development activities of the BKU and directly funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), to support micro and small businesses and the rising middle class in developing nations. Registered in Nigeria as “African Trust Funds for Entrepreneurial Development“, our projects in this region strives to assist entrepreneurial activities locally with focus on promoting technology-driven agriculture for young entrepreneurs and enhancing organizational development through capacity development of the middle management in growing microfinance and agriculture companies.
