Abbey Press is owned by St. Meinrad Archabbey, a Benedictine Monastery, founded in 1854. The printing division began in 1867 and has a rich tradition and experience of evolving from a world of letterpress typesetting and printing into today's advanced technology world of pdf files, digital proofing and direct-to-plate imaging and printing.
