We help nonprofits and companies large and small tell their stories, create community, stay relevant, and thrive.
teamworks communication, led by Barb Harris and Sharon Kreher, started on February 8, 1997. Using our big agency experience, we help clients create meaningful messaging, share stories, and connect them with audiences to promote active engagement with their organization or products.
Our specialties include nonprofit communication (including media relations and donor communications), consumer/retail programs (including grand openings and store events), and national program management (including multi-market franchise PR programs).
Several years into working with retail giants 7-Eleven and Blockbuster (both of whom we worked with for almost 20 years), we created PRConsultants Group in 1999, a network of communication professionals to provide public relations “feet-on-the-street” in markets throughout the U.S. Using the network, teamworks has managed national programs for 911Day.org, Make-A-Wish America/Macy’s, Coldstone Creamery and Barnes&Noble.com.
In 2019, teamworks managed the opening of the first White Castle in Arizona, from groundbreaking to grand opening, resulting in thousands of attendees on the first day, and an unprecedented amount of media coverage both in Arizona and across the country. We continue to work with this iconic brand as they expand.
We excel at nonprofit communications, becoming part of the client team – collaborating with staff and appropriate external resources for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Some of our nonprofit clients include: United Food Bank, Feed My Starving Children, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, and the East Valley Veterans Parade.
Our success comes from the way we communicate with and on behalf of our clients. Our proven ability to effectively share ideas and encourage dialogue is essential to the success of our clients’ public and donor relations efforts.
