The Knowledge to Business (k2b) program seeks to address the lack of marketing knowledge and know-how within the Tasmanian ICT and Science and Technology industries.
A graduate employment and skills development program, k2b started in 2004, specifically developed for ICT businesses. The program is open to both Tasmanian based ICT companies and Science and Technology companies. To-date 18 companies have participated.
K2b is not about developing brochures and marketing materials; it is about showing Tasmanian businesses that marketing is a strategic tool that can assist in the identification and building of new markets.
The program also addresses the marketing skills shortage within Tasmania by providing commercial experience in the ICT and Science and Technology industries to recent University marketing graduates.
