Internetwork

Founded in 1999, interNetwork designed and developed software for load- and service-testing network-based hardware and software components. The company with headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany, and San Francisco, CA, focused on Telecoms, ISP’s and large corporations valueing the end-user experience to access their services / infrastructure. interNetwork’s flagship product, smartTEST, had originally been developed for the largest German telecommunications provider, Deutsche Telekom. Deutsche Telekom successfully employed smartTEST for the quality of service testing in its large telecommunication service centers. Therefore smartTEST simulates end users and collects data about availability and response time, thus testing the entire infrastructure. smartTEST is a combined hardware/software solution and can be scaled to generate any required bandwidth or number of users. The application is controlled using a graphical user interface, developed with GIPSY, a powerful dynamic graphics tool for real-time data display (HMI). Key customers have been Bell Canada, Mannesmann Arcor, BT Ignite (British Telecom Division), Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, Nortel, T-Nova, NET.com. interNetwork was originally founded as spin-off of Patzschke+ Rasp Software GmbH (Germany), one of the leading suppliers of innovative visualization applications.
