fbe is led by the industry for the industry. Our regional committees are all volunteers focused on linking likeminded people together to collaborate, debate and deliver excellence in the built environment. First established in 1946 after World War 2 had ended a group of industry fellows formed The Faculty of Building in a time of uncertainty and economic hardship. This spirt still lives on in the present day. Led by a central board with branches across the UK the commitment within each region to share knowledge and network is at the forefront of every event.
