eXponent Technologies was founded in 2006 by Achilleas Kotsis, and specialises in the areas of network deployment, embedded systems, wireless computer networks (Wi-Fi) and Voice over IP technologies. The company uses open-source solutions based on Linux and asterisk.
The company has materialised big projects as a contractor or subcontractor, like "Public Wireless Internet Access in Athens" (athenswifi), the Callcenter and VPN infrastructures of the "Greek Socialist Party (PASOK), the installation and maintenance of the network equipment of the offices and Motor Yachts of SETE Yacht Management and PrivatSea Yachting, the installation of wireless infrastructure for Mellon Technologies and Mellon Collections, as well as the installation of Internet Servers, technical support and consulting of many other firms and organisations.
eXponent Technologies also develops embedded systems based on Linux, like the Marine Router A6-EGS.
