bARK.today is a non-profit organization that is set on a mission to empower everyone to reduce their carbon footprint by turning gardens into a CO2 Neutral delicious piece of land. Our methodology is based on the principles of ‘Robert Hart’ the food forest pioneer. This easy “step by step plan” takes you or your company on a journey to get back in touch with nature. By doing so we build sustainable communities, sustainable outdoor spaces and turn this world into a more biodiverse society. Our "step by step" plan makes it easy and gives people, garden and non-garden owners, businesses, corporates, governments,… the chance to “Stop talking and start walking.” --- The name “Bark” was not chosen haphazardly. Bark is the protective skin of trees and plants that produces wood. The covering on the outside of a tree is an example of a bark. … A bark or bark is defined as a short loud sound made by a dog or other animals, or any sound that resembles a dog’s screaming sound.
