Arc En Rêve Centre D'Architecture

arc en rêve, an architecture centre created in Bordeaux in 1981, promotes cultural activities in the fields of architecture, the city, landscape and design, with a mediation role for the promotion of the quality of the living environment. The arc en rêve programme of international reference and local involvement is based on the implementation of exhibitions, conferences, debates, editions, activities with children, seminars for adults, building visits, urban routes, and experiments in the field of development. All these initiatives promote the discovery of contemporary architectural creation in Bordeaux, in the region and in the world. arc en rêve architecture centre has been supported by the city of Bordeaux since its creation, with the help of the State - DRAC Aquitaine, Ministry of Culture and Communication. Since 2006, the Urban Community of Bordeaux has participated in financing the centre. As a regional resource centre for architecture and design, arc en rêve also relies on private partners for its operations.
