The Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) presents around 160 films from all over the world for 11 days, offering cineastic discoveries to curious audiences from Switzerland and abroad, and allowing direct exchange with local filmmakers. After only sixteen years, the ZFF has become a fixture in the festival landscape for quite some time already and is an indispensable part of the cultural calendar. Starting with the series for children and students, the International Film Music Competition and premieres of well-known movie personalities as well as the discovery of new talents. The competition is the heart of the ZFF. In the competition, the ZFF presents films by young, aspiring filmmakers competing for the Golden Eye Award with their first, second or third directorial work. These cinematic discoveries often find their way to the cinema only thanks to the platform at the festival. This top-class program is supplemented by exclusive customer events, dinners and parties.
