Our curriculum has been carefully developed to afford everyone the opportunity to learn and grow. Our method is distinguished by four key elements common to every class:
Pranic Breathing - At the center of Zuna Yoga® lies a unique system of breathing that stimulates the vital energies of the body providing strength, conditioning and balance to the body's systems, rendering a rich experience of inner strength and clarity. It also informs correct, stable and empowered postural alignment.
Balance vs Force - When the body, breath and mind are cohesively aligned, we express power with ease and grace. This is fundamental not only to managing our prana (life force) but also to effectively reducing our limitations. As we learn to embody this attitude during our practice, we begin to carry it forth into our daily lives, meeting our challenges with a sense of peace and self-mastery.
Intelligent Sequencing - A wide variety of yogic tools such as asana, bandha, pranayama, mudra, kriya, meditation, mantra, and systematic relaxation are intelligently combined to create a syllabus guided by the wisdom of timeless tradition and philosophy to deliver a meaningful journey in every class.
