We are a non-profit community membership organisation which advocates and shares information about the actions needed to make Harrogate District a net zero community.
Much of our work is behind the scenes, advocating and working with a range of public and commercial decision makers regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from buildings, energy, transport, food and land use. Natural climate solutions such as working with various agencies to promote increased woodland are also an important part of our work.
We host regular events for members of the public and accept invitations to present at meetings organised by other local groups and organisations.
To increase our reach and amplify our advocacy, it would be very helpful to have more volunteers with enthusiasm, capacity and skills to support or join our friendly leadership team. Some of the opportunities are outlined on our get involved page. However, if you have other skills which you think might help us in our work please do not hesitate to get in touch!
