Yuna Mas

🎶 Introducing Yuna Mas (or how Aline Julia became a singer-songwriter...!) From marketing strategies to music sheets—I'm thrilled to announce a new chapter as I release my debut single! 🎶 It’s a pleasure to share the launch of Yuna Mas, my singer-songwriter project. The first release is One Year Before, a song about love and what I believe love is all about: madness and passion and just enough routine to keep things going and interesting at the same time (kind of like my career 😉) After nearly 30 years as a marketing and communication professional, with some detours as an entrepreneur, teacher, and even a brief stint on TV, I decided it was time for something completely different. I became a singer-songwriter—and I fully embraced it. My friend the drummer, Pieter Vereertbrugghen, was the key. He convinced the right musicians to bring the music I envisioned to life, and their good vibes and laughs were, fortunately, a big part of the process. The plan was to rehearse and arrange my songs, record them, and release them. Together with Pieter (drums and percussion), Jan Hautekiet (piano), Dirk De Groef (guitar) and Koen Vanbets (bass) we recorded at Studio Fandango with recording engineer and mixer Dirk Lekenne. Musician and songwriter Daniel Brandt gave me detailed feedback on every song. I also involved my son Milos Willemse Juliá (euphonium), his friend Dmitri Dijkstra (trumpets) and Barbara Pieters (sax) and last but not least vocal producer Yannic Fonderie.
