Yowie Group Ltd specializes in creating ADVENTURE-FILLED SNACKS that feature a combination of something yummy to eat with something new to discover! Our core product, called a Yowie, is a surprise inside chocolate treat centered around the legend of ‘bigfoot’. Our line of adventure-filled snacks builds on the adventure, mystery, and surprise that surrounds our 6 magical, mythological bigfoot characters. "Yowie" means "hairy people" and is the word for Bigfoot in Australia. The six Yowie characters - Rumble, Boof, Crag, Ditty, Nap & Squish - are each a guardian of a particular wildlife habitat. They are here to show us the wonders of our natural heritage, remind us of its value, and teach us about endangered species while having loads of fun! Most snack foods have little value beyond the time it takes to eat the product. We have created a longer engagement (child alone or parent and child) that provides children with an educational story focusing on the value of wildlife conservation, lasting longer than a traditional single-serve experience. Our products celebrate the legend of ‘bigfoot’ and the little-known fact that bigfoot creatures are protectors of wildlife! Children are drawn to our products by the call of the bigfoot - “YOWIE” - asking them to help protect animals in danger. Every time a child engages with our products, they are entrusted to care for any animals hiding inside. While enjoying our products, children and parents learn about many different mysterious and surprising aspects of endangered wildlife, brought to them by the bigfoot guardians, and are encouraged to go on imaginative adventures with us to learn more.
