Youth & Family Outreach

We are a NAEYC accredited early childhood education center in downtown Portland focused on providing high quality care to families with children aged 6 weeks to preK. In addition to strong curriculum based education and assessment we have a compassionate mission to be of service to our neighbors who are most under-resourced. We partner with our community to offer therapy services, school screenings, job mentoring, and translation services. We have a nationally recognized child nutrition program with a wonderful chef who makes three meals a day from local ingredients. YFO’s mission is to create opportunities that enhance the quality of life for children and families. We do this by building strong, positive relationships in a welcoming and stable environment.
