Launching a startup is hard. Launching a healthtech startup, where it's hard to have access to doctors/patient for customer feedback and advice to navigate the complex regulatory landscape, is even harder. Now, do the above while you have to manage 4+ Yale classes.
The Yale Helix Group is a Yale undergraduate incubator that provides support and mentorship for students who want to create healthtech startups. Funded and supported by the Yale Tsai CITY initiative and CBIT (Center for Biomedical Innovation and Technology), we select the best undergraduate talents at Yale and gave them the support for developing ventures. To ensure diversity and financial accessibility, all admitted Yale Helix Group members are compensated for hours worked on Helix projects as Yale Helix Innovation Fellows.
Yale Helix Group also has numerous robust relationships with early-stage venture capital funds such as DRF, Rough Draft Ventures, and Contrary Capital.
