YPSat | Young Professionals Satellite 🛰️
Having only recently taken on new posts at ESA, approximately 65 Young Professionals from various ESA establishments, Directorates and disciplines decided to join forces to form the ESA Young Professionals Satellite team. Working together on a voluntary basis, the challenge the team has elected to take on is to design, build and fly hardware for space. The ESA Young Professionals Satellite (ESA YPSat) is a payload being developed for the inaugural flight of Ariane 6 and will provide ESA’s first images of flight’s key phases. The spacecraft will remain attached to the launcher’s upper stage throughout the mission up until destructive re-entry.
