YMCA Camp Hi-Rock is the sleepaway camp of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA. Hi-Rock is located in the southwestern corner of Massachusetts in the Berkshire mountains. We offer traditional camping programs including summer sleepaway and day camping, year round group and family camping and a variety of volunteer opportunities.
Children build strong character while at camp, where there is an emphasis on relationship building and progressive skill building. Hi-Rock is the place to go each summer to make new friends and build self confidence. Our family camp is annually rated among the nations 50 best by Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel magazine. In addition to summer programming we are visited each year by schools, scouts, churches and spiritual groups for our group camping programs - book a trip for team building, hiking, reconnecting with nature or to remember what it's like to be at camp!
YMCA Camp Hi-Rock is represented by a strong and connected volunteer board of managers led by the board chair - Emily Tice. The Board is made up on community leaders, alumni and friends of camp.
Hi-Rock is a rewarding place to work, volunteer, play and grow! For employment or volunteer inquiries please contact Heather Neaz-Nibur at heather@camphirock.
