The World Series of Boxing (WSB) is a new dimension in the world of professional boxing initiated by the International Boxing Association (AIBA). Based on 16 country franchises from three regional conferences (Asia, Europe and the Americas), the WSB inaugural season started in November 2010 as an annually recurring, global competition with teams comprising of minimum 10 boxers in five weight categories. The Lausanne based WSB is the only professional boxing league that allows professionals to retain their Olympic eligibility and stay under the governing umbrella of AIBA and their national federations.
