We provide hospital-based services from three main sites - the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.
We provide a wide range of services to a population of over 603,000 people in Worcestershire as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.
Over the last year, we provided care for:
- 549,464 outpatients (face-to-face appointments)
- 121,015 outpatients (video or phone appointments)
- 143,002 inpatients
- 125,549 walk-in patients in A&E
- 45,390 patients arriving by ambulance
- 4,710 births
We also carried out:
- 20,554 elective operations
- 4,300 emergency operations
- 2,826 trauma operations
- 197,904 plain film x-rays
-79,333 CT scans
- 23,759 MRI scans
- 73,782 non-obstetric ultrasound scans
- 22,012 endoscopies
We employ over 7,500 people and over 380 local people volunteer with us. We have an annual turnover of nearly £600 million.
