At Woodland Hills Private School, we offer a challenging yet personalized curriculum for children 2 years old through 5th grade, with small classes and activities individualized for each student. The program provides for an interactive process of learning and is concerned with the development of the whole child. The curriculum provides an enriched academic program, the development of self-confidence and self-assurance, cooperative learning skills, community awareness and involvement, leadership skills and the application of these cognitive skills to real life situations. Established in 1975. In 1975, Woodland Hills Private School began its journey on the Collins Campus with just 25 students, initially focusing on preschool and kindergarten education. Fast forward to 1990, and WHPS expanded to a second campus, introducing its elementary school division. In a monumental move in July 2000, the elementary school division relocated to the spacious Oxnard Campus, merging with Farm School, an institution with roots dating back to 1955. A transformative renovation in 2007 saw the Oxnard campus elevated to new heights, with state-of-the-art classrooms, a library, a story room, a computer lab, and an art/science lab enriching the educational landscape. Today, with a student body exceeding 500, Woodland Hills Private School is a beacon of educational excellence in the West San Fernando Valley. It is renowned for its unwavering commitment to academic rigor, innovation, and holistic student development.
