Just over 50 years ago, Title IX was passed, granting women greater opportunity in athletics. Since then, women’s sports have grown in size, popularity, and payoff. But it doesn’t stop there. The Women’s Sports Exchange was founded to address the lack of coverage of women’s sports, because media coverage and marketing are just as essential to the growth of the game as the opportunity to play itself.
Our mission at the Women’s Sports Exchange is to expand exposure to female athletes and the sports they dedicate their hearts to. By providing greater coverage, we hope to help fight the intersectional issues that many women in sports face and target inequalities in the world of sports media.
