The White Shark Africa – Shark Warriors program is a Great White Shark research, ecotourism, naturalist and volunteer project operating in Mossel Bay, South Africa.
This program offers a diverse itinerary to suit the expectations of a broad cross section of participants. This offers hands on approach to working not only with Great White Sharks, but also other species of sharks in the area. The ultimate goals of the program is education, public awareness, the advance of shark science and the conservation of all shark species.
The Shark Warriors program is partnered with Oceans Research who provide and facilitate innovative and dynamic marine research relevant to the management and conservation of Southern Africa's marine life. They are one of the top White Shark research outfits on the planet. Oceans Research conduct lectures and occasionally offer courses that you can participate in. They also organise a number of excursions, including reef and tiger shark diving in Durban and trips to False Bay in Cape Town, which you will have the opportunity to join at your own expense.
