WethicA® is the fruit of several years' experience within the light industry worldwide and especially in developing countries. The realization of working condition in factories has plaid a dynamic role in WethicA’s creation. Carrying out improvement approach on quality and productivity in developing countries has been a second major factor as every quality approach rely on workers and their motivation. Thus, step by step the social audit became a part of an industrial evaluation process of a production site.
More recently, the regulations evolution and the media consequences of the poor control of working conditions in the supply chain, have forced western buyers to position social standards at the heart of their production strategy in the same way as quality or productivity.
The keys of WethicA® success are its direct settling in developping countries of both auditors/consultants and management and the in-depth knowledge and expertise in the compliance field and continous improvement approach, which are our sole sectors.

WethicA® was built in 2003 by 5 entrepreneurs of different nationalities (Sri Lankan, Danish, French, and Mexican) who decided to share their experience to support an international project in social responsibility.
