Westminster United Methodist Church

Westminster United Methodist Church is located in the Galleria/Uptown area of Houston, TX at the corner of San Felipe and Bering Drive and offers two Sunday worship experiences. Contemporary Service called Encounter at 9:05 and Traditional Service at 11:05. Our 9:05 a.m. Contemporary worship service, held in our Fellowship Hall, is led by the Westminster Praise Team and features favorite praise songs and dynamic multimedia combined with an uplifting sermon to help members and guests grow in their daily walk with God. Our 11:05 a.m. worship service offers a Traditional Methodist liturgy, complete with traditional hymns, scripture, psalm and gospel readings, prayers and an inspiring sermon. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. The Traditional Service is held in our Sanctuary. At Westminster, we profess the historic Christian faith in God, incarnate in Jesus Christ for our salvation and ever at work in human history in the Holy Spirit. Living in a covenant of grace under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we participate in the first fruits of God's coming reign and pray in hope for its full realization on earth as in heaven.
