The Westerwelle Startup Haus powered by Evonik Stiftung is operated by the Westerwelle Foundation and was officially opened in October 2018.
At the WSHK we aim to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Rwanda by providing a place where different startups and stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem can meet, exchange ideas, collaborate and expand their skill sets.
Through partnerships and in-house programs we offer a variety of services, workshops and events aimed directly at entrepreneurs and their needs to help them further grow their businesses thus creating jobs and supporting sustainable economic growth.
The WSHK makerspace equipped with 3D printers, lasercutters and other machines focuses on product design and prototyping to encourage experimentation and innovation and to facilitate collaborations between makers and entrepreneurs to create new exciting products and businesses.
