WEBIN was founded as a regional organization to foster a greater degree of cooperation among Western Balkans countries in relation to relevant sectoral policies and to European integration issues. WEBIN works in the field of socioeconomic policy, focusing on education and employment in alignment with related national and EU horizontal policies, particularly gender equality and good governance. WEBIN was registered in 2011 in Serbia as a non-profit NGO in accordance with 2009 Law on Associations. It has 8 full/part-time members of staff, and a network of more than 30 associate experts and operates in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
