We are a state-of-the-art urban farming facility based in a former industrial torpedo factory in Sharon, PA. From torpedoes to aquaponics, we are excited to bring urban agriculture to our region of western PA/NE Ohio. WWUA is reimagining the way we grow food. We've adopted a system that combines aquaculture and hydroponics to produce fresh, healthy, and sustainably grown produce and fish. Our closed-loop system uses 90% less water than traditional farming, eliminates the need for harmful pesticides and fertilizers, and produces no waste. We're committed to producing food that is environmentally responsible, socially impactful, and economically viable. By producing locally and year-round, we're able to provide fresh, healthy food to communities, reduce our carbon footprint, and create a more resilient food system. Our vision is to transform the way we think about food production and create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
