West Ost Union

The Companies’ timeline dates back to 2001 with establishment of OOO LIKUBBEL specializing in import of infant’s food from Europe and Russia. Being successful on the infant’s food market, with assessment of future retail-market of Belarus, in 2006 the Company's shareholders created the chain of supermarkets for children called Buslik headed by a new company SOOO TPG West Ost Union. Whence, the first Buslik store was opened back in 2006. The retail chain of supermarkets for children Buslik is the pioneering chain of stores for children in the Republic of Belarus. In 2008 to gain Operation Excellence accession of OOO LIKUBBEL to SOOO TPG West Ost Union took place. Towards the end on the year the chain has 9 stores. Back in November 2009, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has acquired 25.5% of SOOO TPG West Ost Union shares. Thus by 2013 the chain was significantly expanded and the stores appeared in every Belarusian town with population upwards of 100 thousand. The Company at most meets clients' needs in high-quality and safe infant’s food, offering value for money, efficiency and high level service. By providing the need of the national market in the infant’s food, the Company opens the door for improvement of demographic situation in the Republic of Belarus, contributing to its development and strengthening.
