One of Australia’s oldest continuously-operating rowing clubs, Westies was built in 1905 and the fact it still stands is a testament to generation upon generation of volunteer athletes who have dedicated their time to her upkeep. It is one of the last remaining "floating" boathouses in the world. The building hosts weddings and events in the refurbished upstairs room, and houses one of WA's the best fleets of elite-level boats in the still-operational lower level.
