The company was founded in 1990 and is based in Lahore, Pakistan. Mr. Waqar Hussain initially established “Asia Paint Industry” as sole proprietorship for the manufacturing of decorative paints with brand name of “Weldon” at Abu-Bakr Street, Main Bund Road, Lahore at a rented premise. After a continuous struggle and hard work of over two decades by Mr. Waqar Hussain, he made Asia Paint Industry as a well known company. By 2005 “Asia Paint Industry” has its own premises of 8,500 square feet at Main Bund Road, consisting of production hall, storage halls and offices. Asia Paint Industry engages in the manufacture and sale of paints, varnishes, and other related items in Pakistan. The company offers decorative paints that include primers and undercoats, decorative finishes, and industrial paints, auto refinishes, road marking products, matt lacquers, Weldon thinners, wood finishes. The company markets and sells its products through a network of distributors/dealers and sales personnel. Over the past few years, Asia Paint Industry became the largest national paint manufacturing company in Pakistan with excellence in quality in the decorative products as well as other products. The pride that Asia Paint Industry takes is not only that it is the Pakistani paint company but that it has survived competition from the reputable paint companies within Pakistan. The company focuses on quality and durability through constant research and development with customer’s feedback.
