Warsash Superyacht Academy is a flagship initiative from Solent University, in collaboration with our reputable training and business service partners. We are here to provide you with high quality superyacht education and training for interior, deck and engineering, from entry level to management, and business support services. For nearly 70 years, Warsash Maritime School has been a world-class provider of innovative maritime education, training, research and consultancy. We offer a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art training facilities and purpose-built learning environments. These include newly-commissioned bridge and engine room simulators, pier head survival craft facilities, a fire fighting school and dedicated workshops and centres for engineering, seamanship and radio communications. Our world-leading 20-acre Ship Handling Centre at Timsbury Lake provides specialised ship handling training and assessment for Captains and senior officers using manned ship models. This exceptional facility enables us to offer a variety of ship handling challenges, including port entry scenarios, berthing manoeuvres, canal transits, narrow channels and turning basins.
