Matt provides couples therapy based on the work of John Gottman and Sue Johnson. Early traumatic experiences with others can have a negative effect on relationships. He has developed a treatment protocol that uses principles of EMDR and exposure therapy to alleviate problematic relational behaviors that originate in historical trauma. This protocol is heavily based on the work of John Gottman as well as an EMDR therapist, Ricky Greenwald.
