Established in 1967, Waikiki Health (WH) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) whose mission is to provide quality medical and social services that are accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of ability to pay. WH targets underserved populations and welcomes everyone, regardless of race/ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, economic status, or other consideration. In 1992, WH was designated as the first FQHC in the State of Hawaii, and today serves the highest-risk populations of all 14 Hawaii FQHCs. WH’s three largest clinics are each accredited a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
