WTA represents more than 360 small, rural telecommunications carriers providing broadband, voice, and video-related services to some of the most rural and hard-to-serve communities in the country. WTA is a member-driven association providing education, advocacy, and other resources to ensure its member companies are able to continue providing 21st Century communications services to their communities.
WTA unites the rural telecommunications industry to advocate the interests of its member companies and their customers on Capitol Hill and before regulatory agencies in Washington, D.C.
Whether it’s the rural plains of the Midwest, the Rockies or Appalachians, the remote rural towns, villages or wilderness areas of Alaska or Native American land, WTA member companies have the experience and desire to ensure that Americans living in sparsely populated and hard-to-serve areas enjoy the same telecommunications services as those living in America’s suburbs and cities.
