In 2015, we disrupted the market in Singapore by launching the first digital gifts offering for consumers and enterprises. Until that time, the market was dominated by physical redemption letters and paper vouchers redeemable at brick-and-mortar businesses for both consumer and enterprise services. Digitalising the redemption letters and paper vouchers into eGifts – instantly purchased and digitally transferable – opened up incredible opportunities for consumer brands, giving them digital exposure and access to the kind of rewards and incentive campaigns that really resonate with their clients, customers and employees. Our focus at that time was to bridge the gap between consumer brands and customers, facilitating cashless digital transactions as an easy, secure and inexpensive alternative to traditional rewards, incentives, and loyalty campaigns. In 2016, Wogi was recognized as both an Echelon Top 100 Startup and a RISE Alpha Startup. By 2017, we had expanded our solutions and catalog to Malaysia, with a local office and team in place to duplicate the success we had in Singapore. In 2020 COVID-19 struck, closing countries and locking down cities. Digital transactions were the only way to connect to customers, and work-from-home was the new norm for enterprises. Consumer brands and enterprises realised overnight the need to shift to digital, and this opened up a new horizon of opportunities for Wogi. As of today, Wogi covers most of South East Asia with a local presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. We offer a catalog in 30+ separate markets and provide digital rewards and incentive programs for financial institutions, government bodies, telecommunication providers, airlines & hospitality providers. Since our launch back in 2015, we grow in triple digits every year, and the journey has only just begun.
