Volkswagen Automatic Transmission(Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (VWATJ), as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is the largest green-field transmission producer of the VW Group in China, which has two plants, six transmission families, over 4600 employees dedicated in 761.000㎡. Our main customers in the Chinese market are SAIC Volkswagen and FAW-VW. We produce high-quality DSG transmissions for millions of Volkswagen Group China’s domestically produced vehicles since 2014 and is already a key player in this technology. We continue to advance with high quality standards and technical standards to maintain the momentum in the China market. VWATJ currently has 3 dual clutch transmissions and 2 NEV products SOP, as well as 2 additional CO2 optimized transmissions under startup. In addition, the entry into the e-Mobility is also prepared with the local production of DQ400e Hybrid transmission and APP290 E-drive. Which marks the strengthening of e-mobility strategy of Volkswagen.
