This year marks the 22nd anniversary of a journey that started in the early 2000 with the acquisition by the business attorneys Daniel Voicu and Mugur Filipescu of the Romanian office of the international US based law firm of Arent Fox Kitner Plotkin & Kahn, PLLC. The years that followed, the hard work and dedication have pushed the Firm in the top of the Romanian law firms, our attorneys becoming among the most reliable in the business field, ensuring representation of international investors in their projects and transactions on the local market. By its tenth anniversary, the Firm has extended its portfolio of services by integrating the tax and accounting consultancy company which became Voicu Financial Tax Advisers (initially named Voicu & Filipescu Tax Advisers) and by also founding VF Insolventa SPRL with a team of experienced insolvency and restructuring practitioners. The team of lawyers was also strengthened by integrating another reputed law firm, Stefanica, Dutu and Partners. In 2023, the Firm changed its name in Voicu & Asociații, the new name reflectig the current legal structure after the retirement of Mugur Filipescu in 2019, in line with the requirements of the profession, while preserving the firm's identity and core values, creativity, constructive spirit and long-term relationship.
