Our festival will be raising money to fund an Oral History Project to capture the voices of the Windrush Generation and their descendants as well as building towards a legacy centre where the community can come together.
The festival will have educational opportunity, art, culture and stalls hosted by the Caribbean High Commissions, with local MPs and Councillors pledging to provide resources. This year marks the 75th year since the arrival of the docking of HMT Empire Windrush.
