The Village of HOPE envisions a society that embraces the proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child”. Just as it takes a community of people to interact and engage with children to grow in a safe, healthy environment, we believe it takes a community to support each other during the best and difficult times in life. Building up one another to make a strong community, a village that will help others to excel and flourish. Our mission at the Village of HOPE will focus on supporting working class families and young adults who are struggling due to unexpected events with immediate needs and long term action plans. At “The Village” we will support, advocate, and empower residents to achieve self-reliance and economic sustainability by helping those we work with to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve their goals for a better life while also giving back to “the village” by helping to support others on their journey to stability.
