Vigliecca & Associados (V&A) is an architecture and urban planning firm with practices in four main areas: Studies for PPP (Public–Private Partnership) and Urban Concessions; Urban Plans and Urban Projects; Sports and Institutional Buildings (multi-purpose arenas, sports complexes and cultural and educational equipment); and Housing (residential, social housing and slum redevelopment).
Among the prominent projects are MIP Salvador (2014), Masterplan for Itapagipe Peninsula, Old Town and Atlantic Margin in Salvador (BA); PMI Tiete Arc Masterplan (2013), conceptual and propositional studies of the area of 6.000ha in São Paulo (SP); OUC Mooca-Vila Carioca (Tamanduateí Neighborhoods), integrated studies in the area of 1.600 in São Paulo (SP); OUC Tietê II (2010), reurbanization and requalification of the central valley of Osasco (SP); Arena Castelão, one of the venues of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Deodoro Olympic Park, the largest Olympic area of the RIO2016; Advanced Materials and Energy Research Center from Universidade Federal de São Carlos-UFSCar (2015), educational building pioneer project; Parque Novo Santo Amaro V, social housing reference; Morro dos Macacos/Parque Vila Isabel (Morar Carioca) and Perímetro do Morro do S4 (Renova SP).
V&A was founded in 1996 in São Paulo and is formed by Héctor Vigliecca, Luciene Quel, Ronald Werner Fiedler and Neli Shimizu in addition to a team of architects.
